The Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) Youth Programs hires individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and eager to share their knowledge with youth. In these roles, they provide exciting, hands-on education for youth ages 6-18, both indoors and outdoors, through a variety of engaging activities such as team-building, environmental science, survival skills, alpine travel, rock climbing, slacklining, and more.

Instructors have the opportunity to lead youth on day and overnight outdoor adventures, including hiking, wilderness survival, overnight courses, and rock climbing, while teaching essential outdoor skills. They will also work with schools and partner groups to provide similar programming. Our programs are designed to inspire and empower youth through experiential learning, making this an incredibly rewarding position for those who thrive in nature and love working with young people.
