Expedition Winter Camp
Learn what it takes to be a mountaineer and explore the winter ecosystems of Colorado! Join the Colorado Mountain Club Youth Education Program for one day or a whole week of adventure! We will be rock climbing indoors & outdoors, ice skating, sledding, snow shoeing, and more! Each day will have a different theme and itinerary. Sign up for one day or multiple days. No previous experience required.

LEARN A NEW SKILL and enjoy a new theme each day!
- MONDAY - January 6th, 2025 (9AM-4PM)
- Frozen Lake Ice Skating & Back Country Cooking
- AGE: 1st-3rd Grade
- DESCRIPTION: Chill out with our Youth Programs team while you glide over a frozen lake on a pair of ice skates. Then, warm up by cooking your very own hot snack while learning new back country cooking skills.
- COST: Family Members - $120/day, Non-Members - $130/day

Participant Packing List:
If you are unable to bring any of the items below, please let us know. CMC does have a few extra items that we are happy to loan out for the camp.
- Clothes (comfortable clothing for climbing, hiking):
- Loose fitting pants
- T-shirt and a long sleeve shirt
- Closed-toe, sturdy shoes (waterproof boots preferred)
- Sweater and/or warm layer
- Warm jacket
- Brimmed hat
- Sunglasses
- Warm hat and gloves
- Snow top layer
- Snow bottom layer
- Extra pair of socks
- Sunscreen and lip balm
- Water bottle
- Backpack large enough to carry all personal essentials for a day hike
- Personal medications (inhaler, EPI pen, etc.) – please have all containers and bottles labeled and also listed on the medical forms
- Camera (optional)
