VIrtually attended or recorded lecture of Avalanche terrain Avoidance for satellite courses. Zoom lecture for Western Slope Group of live presentation. This Zoom lecture fulfills the requirement for new WSG Leaders wishing to lead winter trips in non-avalanche prone terrain, and for existing WSG Leaders who wish to fulfill the five hear renewal requirements. WSG members may register and pay the fee on line. WSG guests may register through CMC Membership Services at 303/279-3080. Non-members will be required to authorize a Liability Waiver. WSG Leaders may apply for a Roder Scholarship. The field portion of this school is offered to WSG members, non-members, and new Trip Leaders on February 8, at Grand Mesa Lodge. Register for the field portion under Grand Mesa Lodge Route and Place. There is not a separate fee for the field work. Field work is optional for existing Trip Leaders who are renewing the ATA requirement and have led at least one trip in snow covered, non-avalanche terrain within the last year.
