Potluck Picnic-Enjoy early am hikes prior to relaxing at Pueblo Mountain Park Road shelter nearest the Carhart Trailhead. Food, fellowship, and a relaxing atmosphere. Dog friendly. New and interested guests welcome.

DATE:  Friday July 26, 2024        

TIME:   12:00 to 2:00 pm

LOCATION:  Pueblo Mountain Park Picnic shelter near Carhart trailhead parking.  Enter park by Carhart Trailhead parking area but turn left on Pueblo Mountain park road instead of proceeding to park at Carhart Trailhead.  Shelter is about 0.1 miles on the right.  A nice stream runs behind it!

ACTIVITIES:

Fellowship, food, creek, dog friendly atmosphere

Two different early morning hikes to be posted separately for prior to picnic.  Check CMC postings! 

Sign up as normal for hikes, guests reach out to leader and sign waiver online for hike.

What to bring:  BYOB, something to share.

(Remember food safety, hot things hot, cold things cold.  Bring a cooler to store at the shelter during hike, bring items that could be heated on a camp stove.)

Sue Greer will meet early hikers at the shelter to store food and beverages in the shelter.
