Participate in a scenario session with fellow Trip Leader Students to learn practical application of CMC Trip Leader skills. This field day explores the 15 Trip Leader competencies and examines trip issues and possible solutions while considering group dynamics and safety.

We will meet at the Spruce Mountain Open Space Trailhead at 7:30 for a trailhead trip brief and equipment check before starting our adventure and exploring the CMC's Trip Leading procedures.

This scenario session is only for those who are currently enrolled in the CMC Trip Leader School and have read the CMC Leader Manual and completed the online training course.

This is a Trip Leader School Scenario Day. This casual hike will provide opportunities for future trip leaders to review the CMC Trip standards as prescribed in the CMC's Trip Leader Manual (TLM), address group trip leading challenges (based on real examples), and discuss concerns and questions with experienced trip leaders. Expect about a 5-hour adventure.
