Field trip: Trip Leader School
Scenario Session – Peak to Plains Trail
This class is only for those who are interested in pursuing becoming a CMC trip leader. It is a prerequisite before leading a Leader in Training Hike and getting signed off as a CMC leader. As we hike we will be going over common scenarios that may arise on trips, spend time talking more about the logistics of being a leader, and discuss next steps to becoming a leader.

We will be meeting at the CMC parking lot at 8am. Ignore the pay parking signs.
We will be following the Clear Creek Trail from the CMC to the Peaks to Plain trail up Clear Creek Canyon to Tunnel 1. There are a few bathrooms along the trails. We will be talking as we go, and taking breaks as well. Please pack food if you wish for dinner, we will be stopping at picnic tables for some of our class and there will be time to eat.
