You need your own mountaineering boots that accept automatic crampons!
There is other gear that you must bring for yourself. It is expected that you know what sort of layers and essentials you will need. For gloves, consider bringing a smaller pair of gloves to climb in and a warmer pair for standing around. The same thing goes for jackets.
The necessary climbing gear is as follows:
- Helmet
- Harness
- Belay Device & Locking Carabiner
- 2 Double Runners w/ Locking Carabiners
If you do not have all of the things on the above list, please contact your instructor.
