Field trip: Trip Leader School - Boulder
Field Component – Boulder Open Space
The Leader-In-Training (LIT) scenarios is a full-day field trip conducted on local Open Space hiking trails where candidates will engage in fact-finding, problem-solving, and human dynamics. Instructor will send more information to students after they register. Students need to complete the online trip leader training before this session.

prep meeting will be done by zoom on Tuesday July 23rd at 7 pm, link will be sent to participants
field session will be Saturday July 27th, at 7 am. Shanahan trail. We'll probalby wrap up by 3 pm.
field session will focus more on scenarios vs hard hiking/climbing. So this training session is open for all trip leaders in training (easy to hard hikes, climbs, etc). Enrollment is limited so priority enrollment for incoming Boulder group trip leaders and other groups welcome as space permits.
Required Equipment
proper gear for a B-level hike, including leader gear such as first aid kit, map, etc.
