Location: North Table Mountain, lower lot
Using only gear climbers normally carry, this clinic presents the skills that can be combined for retreats and rescues on multipitch climbs. The skills will be taught and practiced so participants should expect to be hands on and engaged.
Required gear: 3 Locking Carabiners, 3 Non-locking Carabiners, 1 Auto-blocking belay device (CAMP Piu, Petzl Reverso, Black Diamond ATC Guide, etc…), 1 120cm sewn sling (Dyneema, Nylon, or otherwise), 1 Sterling Hollowblock. We will provide every participant with a Hollowblock and Nano 22 carabiner
