Paved roads were fine for all vehicles.
We had a spectacular fall day hiking from the east portal into RMNP on a 7-mile loop along the Wind River trail to Sprague Lake, and back on the Glacier Creek trail. The golden aspens were beautiful against the bright blue sky on this 1000' gain hike. Lunch was at Sprague Lake, and everyone had an exceptionally great day from beginning to end.
