BPX Trip – 2-Day: Morrison Creek from Little Scraggy TH

A two-day, one-night shakedown and gear check adventure. Excellent weather with a cold night helped us make sure that we're ready for a summer of fun on BPX trips. The group was wonderful, and all helped each other work out any bugs with their gear.

  • Easy hike from the Little Scraggy TH to the Morrison Creek. Sunny and warm during the day made for excellent conditions both on the trail and at the campsite.

This was an excellent shakedown and gear check overnight BPX trip to Morrison creek. The primary reason was an exceptional group of people that clearly found many ways to have some fun, while testing their gear, and helping each other when some bugs were found. Of particular note is the cold night gave us all an opportunity to test out sleep systems. Maybe, with a few tweaks and adjustments I'm certain that we're now better prepared to go out and have great times on BPX trips this summer and fall. We also found ways to enjoy each other's company and have a lot of fun and laughs. I think the trip hit all the right marks.
