Basic Snowshoe – South Creek Trail - Davenport Campground

The weather was perfect. Highway 165 had been plowed, but did have a layer of snow and ice on it. There had been a snow storm the day before leaving a deep layer of fresh snow to play in. We broke trail all the way in. This is a closed road, relatively smooth and flat making it a great trail for basic snowshoeing.
