Ute Peak lies in the Williams Fork Mountains of Colorado.  It is the 3rd highest peak in the range.

Ute Peak offers some of the best views of the Gore Range to the west as well as the Blue River Valley.  Depending on your route to the peak you may enter the Ptarmigan Peak Wilderness Area (dogs on leash).
