Torrey's Peak
Torrey's Peak is one of Colorado's most popular fourteeners to hike. It is one of the only fourteeners on the Continental Divide. There is moderate scrambling along the ridge with short sections of exposed scrambling in one or two spots.
Torrey's Peak via Kelso Ridge (Northeast Ridge): 6.5 miles RT, 3,100 ft elevation gain
Dead Dog Couloir: 6.5 miles, 3,100 ft elevation gain
- Steep Couloir reaching approximately 50 degrees with 1500 feet of climbing. The couloir exits at the top of Kelso Ridge. After gaining the ridge, there's a short scramble to the top of Torrey's Peak.
