Top of the Pines
Top of the Pines (TOP) is a Ouray County owned recreation area close to Ridgway, CO. It has over 4 miles of groomed nordic tracks and an area for snowshoeing, as well.
TOP is suitable for both nordic skiing and snowshoeing with flat terrain and gentle rolling hills. Parking is limited and located at the trailhead so it is best to carpool. A donation is requested to maintain the trails and a donation box is located at the trailhead. For more info, see Nordic Skiing (topofthepines.org).
