Staunton State Park
Staunton State Park is located approximately 40 miles southwest of downtown Denver, north of US Highway 285 and about six miles west of Conifer. This park was given to the state and was a former homestead to the Staunton family back in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The park sees moderate to heavy use in the late spring to early fall. This park contains hiking, biking, photography and climbing. There is an entrance fee.

Rusty Buckle Trail - 10 mile loop - from Staunton ranch to Borderline, NW onto Rusty Buckle for 3 mi then intersects N Elk Trail down to Bugling Elk trail.
