Rocky Mountain Arsenal
This National Wildlife Refuge has 15'000 acres of prairie grass and is home to more than 330 species of wildlife, including bald eagles, bison, black-footed ferrets, deer, coyotes, borrowing owls and prairie dogs.
You can hike many different trails on foot and also drive through the bison area. The trails are mostly level and we'll hike between 4 and 6 miles.
