RMNP - Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley is divided into Lower Hidden Valley and Upper Hidden Valley by Trail Ridge Road (closed in the winter). Lower HV offers several ascent options below treeline, the most popular being Columbine, or otherwise known as Main Vein. Upper HV contains several open bowls at and above treeline.

There is a beacon park not far from the parking lot for transceiver and probe practice. 

At the parking lot there is a warming hut with heated restrooms. 

There is plenty of parking. 

Upper Hidden Valley Open when Trail Ridge Road is open.  Lower Hidden Valley is open all year, 

Rocky Mountain National Park restricts usage, parking, and entry depending on season and trailhead location.  Go here for more information.
