This TH is located about 12 miles north of Grand Lake, along the western-most side of US-Hwy 34/Trail Ridge Rd.  This TH is the point in the road that typically closes mid-October to Memorial Day.

From this location, explore a variety of uncrowded trails along the headwaters of the Colorado River, through the Kawnueeche Valley, and along the eastern edge of the Never Summer Range.

The TH has picnic tables, fire grates, and vault toilets.
