A short winter snowshoe, .8 mile and 200' gain west of Tennessee Pass near Ski Cooper. Trailhead is at 10,400' and the cabin sits at 10,500 feet.
Point Breeze Cabin is a privately owned hut, booked through 10th Mountain. There are over fifteen miles of rewarding ski touring and snowshoe trails ranging from beginner to intermediate. Nearby Chicago Ridge and Ski Cooper offer the closest "turns".
This cabin is a single story cabin that sleeps 8. Two private bedrooms each sleeping two people and an additional four beds in the common area. All beds are singles.
This cabin has small solar refrigerator, solar lights, a wood burning heat stove with oven, propane burners, pots/pans/utensils, and an outdoor propane grill. The hut includes mattresses and pillows for 8 people. and an attached outhouse.
