Peak 9 13,195 feet up above Breckenridge on the Ten Mile range. From the Far East parking lot at Copper Mountain. 9.5 miles 3700 feet elevation gain

Drive to the Far East parking lot at Copper Mountain, cross the bridge over the creek at the base of the Ten Mile range and hike the Colorado trail 2.3 miles up to Wheeler Trail Junction follow the Wheeler Trail to a saddle between Peak 8 and Peak 9.  Turn south to climb to the Peak 9 summit.

From the parking area it is 3.7 miles to the saddle between Peaks 8 and Peak 9. It is an easy 800 feet elevation to the Peak 9 summit. Class 2
