Mount Lady Washington

This 13’er is located on the way to Long’s Peak and is recommended for experienced mountaineers only.

Please view this document with everything you need to know about Rocky Mountain National Park

Trailhead is at the Long’s Peak Ranger Station.

From the top, you'll get amazing views of neighboring peaks such as Twin Sisters, Lily Mountain, Estes Cone, and Battle Mtn. But the incredible best view is the Longs Peak Diamond that can't be seen from anywhere else.

The route approaches Mount Lady Washington from the east, climbing the east ridge to the summit. The south side of Mount Lady Washington has steep and loose terrain that should be avoided. You'll take the Longs Peak Trail to its intersection with Chasm Lake Trail. There is a backcountry toilet at this intersection, but it is still a good idea to bring a portable waste bag to minimize the impacts of human waste in this high-traffic alpine area.
