Lenawee Mountain

Lenawee Mountain is a mountain near the continental divide. The Arapahoe Basin ski area is located on a portion of the mountain. Elevation: 13,204 ft. 4400ft elevation gain. 10.2 miles. Starting from the Lenawee Trailhead near Keystone, leave the trail when you reach saddle overlooking A Basin. The ridge leads to a false peak to the southwest of Lenawee Mountain before taking a Class 2+ ridge to the true summit. The traverse from Lenawee Mountain to Grizzly Peak is Class 3, with maybe one 3+ section. The first half is a bit loose, but  becomes more solid. The Class 3 and Class 3+ sections are encountered as you draw closer to Grizzly. The slope leading down from Grizzly to the saddle is Class 2. A detour to Chihuahua Lake is worth considering. The Chihuahua Lake Trail,  becomes a dirt road leads you back to the Peru Creek Rd, hike the remaining 0.5 miles to your vehicle.
