Leland Creek, Fool Creek, King Creek Loop
This is a beautiful cross country ski and snowshoe trail in the Fraser Experimental Forest. The loop begins at the Leland Creek Trailhead and gently ascends to a point to see beautiful views of Byers Peak. Choices can be made whether to extend the route to the St. Louis Creek Trail or to loop back to the parking lot on the St Louis Creek road.
The snow conditions in the Fraser Experimental Forest can be very deep, fluffy and wonderful for winter sports. This trail is often sparsely traveled, so the snowpack can be very nice for snowshoeing and skiing.
