Left Hand Reservoir
Left Hand Reservoir is accessed via the Left Hand Reservoir Road and begins at the Brainard Lake Winter Parking Lot. It gains roughly 600' in elevation. The views from the reservoir are incredible, including Longs Peak, Mount Meeker & Mount Audubon.

Left Hand Reservoir (10,667 ft.)is accessed via the Left Hand Reservoir Road Hike. The hike begins at the Brainard Gateway Trailhead (10,056 ft.) which is at the Brainard Lake Winter Parking Lot.
From the parking lot, cross over the Brainard Lake Road and begin your hike along the Left Hand Reservoir Road. Follow the road as it crosses Left Hand Creek at about a mile, then passes the first of two trail intersections with the Little Raven Trail a short distance later, and then the second trail intersection about a half mile further up the road. About a half mile after the second trail intersection you will arrive at Left Hand Reservoir. From the banks of Left Hand Reservoir you will be rewarded with sights of Colorado’s snow dusted craggy peaks and alpine forests.
