Uphill Touring: 

Keystone Ski Area allows uphill touring currently before and after resort hours. There are designated uphill routes and more regulations specified in the Uphill Access section on Keystone's website (Mountain Info page). Access typically opens in mid-December and ends in mid-April. It is a great and simple uphill touring workout, with the ascent route from the Mountain House Base area to the Dercum Summit (Schoolmarm > Jaybird > Spring Dipper) gaining ~2,400 feet over 3 miles. The views of surrounding Summit County are also a highlight - from the summit, it is a 360 degree view!
