Directions to parking lot:  Eldora Mountain - Google Maps  This trail starts from a backcountry gate at the Eldora Ski area near Nederland.  You must attain a free backcountry entrance pass from Eldora Cross Country Ski area. Hours are Monday -Friday 9 am-4 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am - 4 pm.  Parking in regular Eldora Lots.  The backcountry gate is located near the bunny hill. Jenny Creek Trail Access

Yankee Doodle Lake: 9.5miles - 1,600ft elevation gain

Jenny Creek Trail: 8.5 miles - 1,443 elevation gain

Arestua Hut: The summer (maintenance) route is 3 miles (round trip, between Yankee Doodle lake and Guinn mountain), 850' elevation gain; the winter (hut trip) route is 9 miles (round trip between Eldora ski resort or Hessie trailhead and Guinn mountain), 2000' elevation gain. The Årestua (or Guinn mountain) hut is an A-frame building owned by the Boulder-CMC, located near James peak wilderness area.
