Herman Lake
This trail ascends steeply up the Herman Gulch trail and levels out through grassy meadows and forest. The lake is a great reward for the effort to get there! Wildflowers are abundant in the summer. This route is 7.2 miles round trip and 1775 ft elevation gain.
A great trail for hiking and snowshoeing. Several avalanche shoots exist along this trail so not recommended during avalanche conditions.
