Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area

The Peninsula Recreation Area is located in the White River National Forest and operates under permit from the USDA Forest Service.

Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter, Peninsula Recreation Area gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. With its wide range of fields, trails, and other facilities, this park has a number of options for everyone.

The park is situated on Dillon Reservoir, half a mile south of Frisco on CO-9, and is open year-round from 6 AM–10 PM. The area has many amenities, including campgrounds, trails, a skate park, and parking areas.

In winter, trails require a trail pass from the Frisco Nordic Center and parking is limited to the base area parking options https://www.townoffrisco.com/things-to-do/frisco-nordic-center/trail-passes/
