French Gulch

A gated public road suitable for summer and winter travel. The road ends after the homes, but a trail extends up to French Pass.

As you approach south Breckenridge on RT 9, turn left onto CR 450 (7-11 store on the corner), drive 0.3 miles and turn right onto Reiling Road then 0.7 miles and left onto French Gulch Road. In 0.6 miles the pavement ends. Then 2.8 miles on the wide dirt road to the parking area for 11 cars. This parking area also serves the trail to the Sallie Barber Mine and the Sister's Cabin further on (with its own separate permitted parking area).
