Flying J Ranch
The Flying J Ranch Park in Conifer offers one of the Front Range's easiest trails for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing.
Wonderful, rolling 3-mile hike/snowshoe and mountain biking trails through forests and meadows just north of Conifer. Starting from the main upper parking lot (not the lower parking off of Shadow Mountain Dr) the Shadow Pine Loop Trail gains 321 ft of elevation over its rolling 3-Mile course. There are restrooms at the trailhead as well as rustic timber shelters for picnicking. You can add 1.2 miles to this loop by starting at the Lower Parking Area at the intersection of 73 and Shadow Mountain Dr - but the dirt parking here is limited."
