Finch Lake
Moderate hike on the southern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. The route starts from the Finch Lake TH which is a mile past the Wild Basin entrance station. Views at the lake include Copeland Mountain and Elks Tooth.

Finch Lake:
The trail starts with an ascent up a ridge as you leave Wild Basin. Next there is a decent into the Fox Creek drainage where you will meet up with the Allenspark Trail on the other side of the valley. The views to the north at this juncture are expansive, including Longs Peak, Mt Meeker, Pagoda, and Chief's Head. Proceed west at the juncture and hike 2 miles to Finch Lake.
Pear Lake:
Follow the directions above. Pear Lake is another 2 additional miles, an option if you desire a longer route or a nice day hike if backpacking.
