Father Dyer Peak
Father Dyer Peak is a high thirteen-er in the Crystal Creek drainage area of the Tenmile Range. Routes offer scrambling, snow climbing, skiing, and enjoyable ridge runs. Father Dyer's summit block requires some easy scrambling, and leads you to a tiny summit. It's a great place to view the surrounding peaks of the mighty Tenmile.
Father Dyer Peak: 7.5 mile, 3,250ft elevation gain. Class 3 route. Summiting from the Spruce Creek Trailhead at 10400 ft.
Crystal Peak via Father Dyer NE ridge: 8 .5 miles (from spruce creek trailhead), 4miles (4x4 access at lower crystal lakes), 3,400 feet gain from spruce creek trailhead or 1,700-1,800 feet of gain from lower crystal lakes
Father Dyer Peak West Ridge from Crystal Peak: This route to Father Dyer is Class 2 hiking, and avoids the Class 3 scramble described in the current route. The route is a bit longer, and follows the route described on 14ers.com, first to Crystal Lake then up to Crystal Peak via the northeast ridge. From Crystal Peak, the route goes down Crystal and then up Father Dyer via the west ridge. The route is 10 miles long with 3700' of elevation gain. The URLs for the route are below.

Past spruce creek trailhead, a high clearance 4x4 is recommended, distance and elevation will vary upon vehicles. You will pass Crystal Lake and have views from the summits.
