Echo Lake Trailhead
The campground parking area provides access to the Resthouse Trail, the northern end of Captain Mountain Trail, and is a jump off point to bushwhacking straight up toward Mt Goliath. During the winter, one can snowshoe up the closed Mt Evans Road.
The trailhead and campground is at the intersection of CO-103 (Mt Blue Sky/Evans Rd) and CO-5 (the entry kiosk to Mt BlueSky/Evans summer only access). There is parking area before entrance to the campground proper. The historic Mt Evans Lodge sits across the intersection. There is a restroom near the parking area.
