East Bear to Stultz/Tanner Trail

Nice out and back hike mostly forested in San Isabel National Forest above Canon City. Moderate B+ hike 9 miles 2400’ of steady gain. Best hiked with snow on the ground when dirt bikes are not on the trail and scree is covered. Option to summit Curley Peak 9758’ trail conditions/weather permitting. Easy access off Oak Creek Grade Road (Fremont CR 143) to a parking lot.
