Deadhorse Creek Loop Trail
Nestled in the Fraser Experimental Forest and entire network of wonderful hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country ski trails exist. Ascending up the Spruce Creek Trail views of Byers Peak are astounding.
Winter wonderland best describes this area. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing is superb due to the deep snow and quiet forest (no snowmobiles allowed). This particular route offers a challenging ascent and can be a long day if you intend to do the whole loop breaking trail. Some times these trails have had few people on them and some effort is needed for breaking trail .
