The densely forested 176-acre urban park is populated by many huge, climbable sandstone boulders.
This trail system is owned and managed by the City of Durango. There are multiple entry points but the main entry is at Jacob Cliffs TH.
There are 4 miles of trail in the Park proper, connected to a greater mountain trail system. The relatively flat trails are well-maintained.
