Chalk Mountain OHV Trail
This is a steep snowshoe climb in the San Isabel National Forest to Chalk Mountain near Freemont Pass and the Climax Mine area. Forest Service Road 134 leads to the broad summit of Chalk Mountain.
We will snowshoe up Forest Service Road 134 for public access to Chalk Mountain summit. We will not tresspass onto private property. The trail will likely be broken out with snowmobile activity to a private cabin. We will use snowshoes for this steep climb.
