BPX 3-Day: Golden Gate Canyon State Park Reverend's Ridge or Aspen Meadow Campgrounds
Due to its short drive from Denver, Golden Gate Canyon is one of the most popular state parks. Two formal campgrounds offer 132 campsites, good shade, tent-only loops, a primative, tent-only campground with a mix of walk-in or drive in campsites, and a group campground.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park has eleven hiking trails, several stocked fishing ponds, stream fishing, rock climbing and great campgrounds. The campgrounds are exceptionally popular. Reserve as far in advance is possible. Reverend's Ridge is full every night from mid-May to mid-September. Reservations mandatory.
