Blodgett Open Space

388 acres of open space, trails, and wildlife habitat neighboring the Pike National Forest. The City of Colorado Springs maintains Blodgett Open Space. However, trails to Blodgett Peak, Ormes Peak, or others that leave the designated open space are not maintained by the City of Colorado Springs.

Blodgett Peak (9,727): 3.4 miles (RT), 2,309 feet of elevation gain

Hummingbird trail provides the approach for the route to Blodgett Peak.  Route finding and some scrambling through scree will be necessary to reach the Blodgett Peak summit.

Ormes Peak (9,722'): 8 miles (RT), 3,000 feet of elevation gain

Mostly on trail with some sections where the trail may be vague. Great views of the Pikes Peak area and the Lost Creek areas.
