Birthday Peak, 12,752′. This peak on the Continental Divide near Buena Vista offers expansive views of the Collegiate Peak Wilderness.
The only trail to this peak starts at the North Cottonwood Creek Trailhead, about 8.5 miles west of Buena Vista, at the end of CR 365. The approach road is gravel and dirt. Several stream crossings before the trail becomes intermittent. Scrambling toward the top. The peak is located at 38.88152, -106.33392.
