Bard Peak is difficult whatever route you take. 3,840 ft elevation gain in 2 miles from Bakerville (Exit 221 off I70). Mostly off trail, Class 2.

Bard Peak is a prominent mountain summit in the Front Range. The 13,647-foot peak is the 176th highest peak in Colorado and the 12th highest in the Front Range. Bard Peak is located in Arapaho National Forest, 4.5 miles west-northwest of the Town of Silver Plume.
