Near the heart of Evergreen, Alderfer/Three Sisters Park has stunning vistas, landmark rock formations, beautiful old stands of ponderosa pine and the most trails per acre of any foothills park.

From the East Trailhead you can access: 

  • Evergreen Mountain East, Wild Iris and Three Sisters Loop - 7.1 miles - 1200 ft elevation gain
  • Evergreen Mountain via East and West Trail Loop - 5.5 miles - 1043 ft elevation gain
  • Hidden Fawn to Mount Muhly Trail Loop - 6.9 miles - 1112 ft elevation gain
  • Hidden Fawn and Bearberry Trail - 3.6 miles - 564 ft elevation gain
  • Sisters, Mountain Muhly, Homestead, Silver Fox, and Ponderosa Loop - 5.2 miles - 879 ft elevation gain
From the West Trailhead you can access: 
  • Evergreen Mountain Trail - 4.2 miles - 816 ft elevation gain
  • Three Sisters and Little Brother Trail - 2.5 miles - 337 ft elevation gain
  • Evergreen Mountain West, Summitt, and East Trail Loop - 5.3miles - 1010 ft elevation gain
  • Big Brother and Sister Loop - 3.1 miles - 358 ft elevation gain
  • Elephant Butte - 5.1 miles - 1286 ft elevation gain
  • Bluebird Meadow, Mountain Muhly, and Bearberry Trail Loop - 3.6 miles - 567 ft elevation gain
  • Bearberry and Silver Fox Loop - 2.2 miles - 232 ft elevation gain
