Meet at Stratton Open Space East Trailhead at 0800

The Stratton Open Space is located adjacent to North Cheyenne Canon Park. Take 21st Street South (this street turns into Cresta Road) and turn right on W CHEYENNE BLVD and right on Ridgeway Avenue to the trailhead parking area on your right. A porta john (bathroom) is available at trailhead.

No drop run/job; moderate pace trail run with ~900 ft elevation; perfect for those training for Garden of the Gods (10 mile); Barr Trail or Pikes Peak Ascent type trail runs; some running on gravel roads without traffic; single track multi-use trails.
Bring water; sun screen; pace will adjust to weather; trail conditions; group pace.
The route elevation gain is primarily in the beginning 1-2.5 miles and the return route will be more single track multi-use trail.
