Tue 5:55pm Boulder Sanitas TH - 3mi or 5.3mi +1,300ft No Pressure Moderate/Intermediate Trail Run
- Join us for a show-and-go ( no pre registration required) for a no pressure Moderate / Intermediate trail run
- I debated between “few details” and getting lots of questions or “lots of details” and people not reading it all , but i will err on the “lot of details”, sorry about that
- it will be “most/many” Tuesdays meeting at 5:45ish and starting at 5:55pm-ish. If you are late text/email me. If the weather is bad ( for example rain non stop) i will probably cancel it, so if there are any doubts or questions, email or text me.
- plan - we will go up TOGETHER to the top ( 1.5mi / 1,300ft gain) at a no pressure slow / moderate pace approx 2.5-3 mph
- plan - will either RUN down Lions' Lair EACH AT THEIR OWN PACE - this way we account and allow multiple abilities and speeds
- plan - or some people can go back the way we came, for a total of 3mi
- details - usually the 5.3mi loop takes about 1hr20 to 1hr40 minutes
- details - this is 5.3 miles with about 1,300 feet of gain so please make sure you are able to run easy this distance ( for example make sure you can at least run 5 miles flat in like an hour-ish and some )
- GEAR - If there are signs of potential rain a 100% waterproof rain jacket IS MANDATORY ( so have a rain jacket with you in the car all the time)
- GEAR - trail shoes, with non slippery sole ( unless you are experienced )
- GEAR - even though it is 3 or 5 miles i recommend sun glasses, water, sun screen, sun hat and so on
- Since it is show and go , just before the start of the run you MUST write down your name and cell / contact info , so i can make sure everybody is a CMC member and all people are accounted back at the car
- I would LOVE to have some co leaders from time to time
