Meet at CoorsTek lot next to CMC HQ at 6am to carpool to Golden Gate Canyon State Park - Bootleg Bottom trailhead.

Are you big on Leave No Trace? Prove it by helping me remove graffiti on an off-trail ridge!

We'll hike in a couple miles on trail, then have a half mile off trail ridge scramble with some easy class 3 and moderate exposure. We will hike in a battery operated pressure washer, cleanup chemicals, and approximately 10 gallons of water for the pressure washer. You must be comfortable and able to carry 2 gallons of water for the pressure washer in addition to your personal gear on the approach hike and scramble to our cleanup location. Once cleanup is finished we will continue along the ridge to the summit of Tremont, descend off trail to Panorama Point, and return to the start via trail (with the option of extending the hike if all group members are interested).

This project has been approved by a CPW Park Ranger, who may be present to assist.

This is a register with leader trip. To be added, please respond to the following questions:

1. Is graffiti cool? Or is LNT cool?

2. Are you comfortable with moderate class 3 scrambling? Please briefly describe your scrambling experience.

3. Are you fit enough and have a pack capable of carrying an extra 2 gallons of water to help make this cleanup project possible?
