Scramble – Golden Gate Canyon State Park - Tremont Ridge to Tremont Mountain
Hike from Bootleg Bottom picnic area along Coyote trail to Tremont Ridge. Scramble along Tremont Mtn ridge and return to Bootleg Bottom picnic area. Optional scrambling along Promontory ridge.

Meet in the Coors Tek parking lot for a 6:30 departure. Alternatively meet at Bootleg Bottom Picnic area at 7:00. If you plan on meeting at the trailhead PLEASE let me know at least 24 hrs ahead of time.

This trip is designed for trip leaders to gain experience with the features of this area. Ascent / Descent lines may be taken that would not normally be included in a club scramble You must have recent scrambling experience - this is not for beginners. This area is not developed and there is a significant amount of loose rocks.
Required Equipment
Helmet, scrambling shoes, 10 essentials & a good attitude for risk taking.
Note: the leader will not be taking a rope!
