Meet at the Bank Campground Day Use Parking Area NLT 9:30am,. (carpool from Colorado Springs: Black Bear Coffee just West of Hwy 115, off S. Academy by 8am). Please be packed and ready to go by the above specified times.
Trails may be scree, ice, mud, and/or snow covered. Be prepared for a full day out with 10 essentials, traction for shoes (i.e. microspikes), layers, headlamp, climbing personal gear (to include helmets and PAS). MUST HAVE INTERMEDIATE ROCK BADGE or higher (or contact the leader -- if you do not have this level of CMC badge and haven't contacted the leader, then you will be Removed from participation). Rock Climbing Lead and lead belay skills are a plus, but not necessary. If you have a climbing rope, lead gear, or anchors, please bring and we will carry in as necessary.
There is no water or (usually) no pit toilets available at the crags, please plan accordingly.
Cellphone coverage is minimal, depending where we are at the crag, or during the hike in.
Required Equipment
Personal climbing and hiking gear as specified in Leader's notes.
Mainly Single-Pitch, Sport Climbing -- However, there (sometimes) are limited amount of "Trad" climbs found.
Please stay within your climbing/cleaning abilities and training.
