Rock Climb – Red Rock Canyon Open Space

This is a practice session for self-rescue skills with some available instructors for guidance. There are top-rope anchors available to set up ropes and practice skills on the ground, on the routes, or from the top. Open to all who have already taken a self-rescue class or otherwise have some knowledge of rescue skills.

Meet at the central parking lot for RRCOS just off US 24 in Colorado Springs at noon.  We will then walk to the top-rope wall area on the far left of the climbing routes.  We'll plan to be back at the parking lot by 6 pm.

We can use the top-rope wall or sport routes for self-rescue practice.  Must sign the online climbing permit for Colorado Springs City parks (every calendar year)- https://coloradosprings.gov/parks/webform/rock-climbing-permit
