RMOTHG Trip – Alderfer/Three Sisters - West TH
This is a 5 mile / 1300 ft elevation gain climb up to Elephant Butte in Three Sisters Park in Evergreen. Steep and rocky some may need to use hands for balance. It's been described as "a darn good glutes/thigh workout!", but rewarding with spectacular views at the top.

This hike can be quite challenging for those who do not have good balance and stability - due to the highly rocky and steep nature of the trail. Please consider this - as well as you aerobic / physical conditioning - for this hike.
Meeting Time: 8:30 am
Meeting Place for Carpooling: Morrison PnR (3485 S. Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO) From the Morrison Rd (CO 8) exit of 470 go west towards Morrison. Take immediate right on South Rooney Rd. Dirt Parking Lot is directly on your right across from the gas station/convenience store.

Microspikes may be needed in shaded sections of this trail. Poles are recommended - especially for descending the steep, rocky sections.
